Mile High Siberians

All our kittens are born and raised in our home (as opposed to kennels) around and among our family of 5 children (ages 7-17). We have found that by the time the kittens are old enough to go to your home they are very socialized and can be placed in homes with children or without.
Ask us about their personalities....each one is different! Sometimes people are looking for a certain personality instead of a color. We know each kitten on a personal level and can tell you which ones are cuddly and lovers and which are the most playful and energetic! Help us help you to pick the right kitten for your home!
Cat Allergies:

The "Cat Allergen" is called FEL D1. This allergen is extremely potent. Secretions from the glands of the skin are the primary source of FEL D1, but it is also deposited on the fur through the saliva when the cats clean themselves. Eventually the allergen flakes off and becomes airborne to trigger the symptoms that characterize allergies to cats. The Siberian Cat produces a reduced level of FEL D1, due to a protein sequence missing from their DNA. Any cross-breeding re-introduces that protein and ALL subsequent generations are no longer Allergen-Free. About 20% of people with severe allergies will still react to a Siberian, but most people with light to moderate allergies have no reaction to the Siberian, and can make one (or more!) cats a normal part of their family.
